Bowes is an ideal location for walking, bird watching, fishing, cycling or simply relaxing and is an excellent base for visiting local historic attractions for example Barnard Castle, Raby Castle, Egglestone Abbey and The Bowes Museum are just a short drive away.  Pets are welcome at no extra charge (well they are part of the family!)
